Job summary

Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant in Maryland is seeking a CNA I (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) to work PRN (As Needed). You will assist with daily activities, bathing, dressing, and oral care, while helping maintain resident safety.

You will take vital signs at shift start and as directed, document promptly, and support a collaborative care team. A CNA I license and CPR certification are required, with a patient, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA I license.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• CPR certification preferred or current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a Geriatric/CCRC setting is a plus.
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for older adults (bathing, dressing, oral care).
• Support nursing staff with resident ADLs and safety.
• Take vital signs at shift start and as directed.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Encourage engagement and activities to keep residents active.
