Carroll Lutheran Village is seeking Geriatric Nursing Assistants to work PRN, supporting residents with daily living activities and vital signs. The role emphasizes patient safety, timely documentation, and encouraging engagement in activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current GNA certification and license.
• Positive and professional attitude required.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment; previous CCRC experience is a plus.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing and oral care.
• Take vital signs at shift start and as directed.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure resident safety and engagement; motivate seniors to stay active.

What You’ll Do as a GNA at Carroll Lutheran Village:

• Assist nursing staff with completion of older adult resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care.
• Perform vital signs on older adult residents at beginning of each shift and as directed.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure the safety of our senior residents.
• Assist with motivating senior residents to help keep them active and engaged.
