GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Support role to assist with patient care under the direct supervision of a nurse. The position involves aiding with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic nursing tasks to support patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include documentation in EMR, maintaining clean patient areas, and assisting with admissions, turnovers, and transport as needed by the nurse. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Under direct supervision assists with delegated nursing procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provides for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assists patients in activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, hygiene, feeding).
• Performs routine vital signs, weights, and basic nursing tasks as directed by the nurse.
• Maintains patient rooms, stocks supplies, and supports admission/transfer/discharge processes.
