Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Levindale Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) to provide safe, compassionate, resident-centered care in the Household Units on the long-term care campus. The role supports residents with ADLs, monitors health, and helps maintain a home-like environment.

Under licensed staff direction, you will record vital signs, assist with transfers, follow infection prevention procedures, and participate in care planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Current Maryland CNA I certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Less than one year of healthcare experience required; LTC/rehab experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other observations.
• Observe for changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and restorative activities.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
