Nathan Adelson Hospice is seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports the hospice philosophy and requires a NV CNA certification and CPR.

Preferred candidates have a year of clinical experience and hospice/home health exposure. Per diem shifts start at 8:00am, with a focus on quality, respectful care in a specialized hospice setting.

Formación

• Successful Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• One year of recent clinical experience preferred.
• Hospice and/or home health experience preferred.

• Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, provide outstanding patient care services and procedures as outlined by the Nevada Practice Act.
• Actively support and promote the hospice’s philosophy and mission statement.

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs outstanding patient care services, activities, and procedures as outline by the State Board of Nursing and within the Nevada Practice Act. Actively supports and promotes the hospice’s philosophy and mission statement.

Shifts:

- Per Diem/As Needed (shifts starting at 8:00am)

Education and Experience:

• Successful Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• One year of recent clinical experience preferred.
• Hospice and/or home health experience preferred.

Required Licensure and Certification:

• Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Nevada.
• Current CPR certification
• CNAs working in Home Care, Admissions or Triage departments must also be a Nevada licensed driver and possess an automobile that is insured in accordance with Nevada state and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order. Must maintain clean driving record.
• Hospice and Palliative Care certification preferred.
