Northern Nevada State Veterans Home is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health data, and support the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Applicants should hold a Nevada CNA certification; CPR/First Aid is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualificações

• Active CNA certification in Nevada required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Ensure safety and comfort by responding to call lights and care needs.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity according to care plans.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and health data.
• Observe changes and report to licensed nursing staff; assist with restorative activities.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled, and safe resident environments.
