Job summary

Lorien Health Services is seeking CNAs I (GNA) for its PRN Flex Pool across multiple Maryland locations. This role offers a flat rate of $22.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime, shift differentials, and holiday differentials.

You can create your own schedule and work at several Lorien communities, including Ellicott City, Columbia, Bel Air, and more. Join a family-owned organization with a history dating back to 1977, known for care-forward values and flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland CNA I (GNA) license.
• 2+ years of direct GNA experience.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Accurately document care in EMR/EHR systems (PCC experience preferred).
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings.

Responsibilities

Our PRN Flex Pool puts you in control:

• 8-hour or 16-hour shifts
• Minimum of 5 shifts per month
• Must work in at least two different Lorien facilities

CNA I / GNA Responsibilities

As a PRN Flex Pool Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will:

• Provide direct resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Accurately document care in EMR/EHR systems (PCC experience preferred)
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings

Qualifications

Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation. To join the Lorien PRN Flex Pool, you’ll need:

• Active Maryland CNA I (GNA) license
  • Out-of-state CNAs are eligible for Maryland endorsement reimbursement
• 2+ years of direct GNA experience
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Reliable, professional communication
  • Call-outs must be made directly to the facility
