Job summary

Constellation Hospice in Waterville, Maine is seeking a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist with personal care and provide compassionate support to patients and families in a hospice setting. The CNA will perform basic hygiene tasks, follow physician orders and work under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
• CNA License must be active and in good standing.
• Must have a current driver's license and be willing to drive within an assigned territory.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• At least one year of experience and hospice and/or home health experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of iOS operating system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family.
• Perform personal hygiene tasks including bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath as trained.
• Provide care under the supervision of a registered nurse and physician orders.
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered hospice support and education as needed.

Constellation Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice CNA in Waterville, MaineThe primary function of the (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.
