Job summary

Constellation Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice CNA in Bangor, Maine. The role focuses on assisting with personal care and collaborating with patients and families to ensure comfort and dignity in care.

The aide will follow physician orders and operate under RN supervision, providing practices for hygiene and grooming. Requirements include state-approved CNA training, an active license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to drive within an assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
• CNA License must be active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.
