Job summary

Constellation Hospice in Lancaster, PA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our hospice program in the Lancaster territory. You will assist with personal care and daily activities under RN supervision, helping patients maintain comfort and dignity.

Requirements include CNA training and state competency evaluation, an active CNA license, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of hospice or home health experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
• CNA license must be active and in good standing.
• Must have a current driver\'s license and be willing to drive within an assigned territory.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• At least one year of experience and hospice/home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Provide bed, sponge, or shower baths and hair washing as ordered by a physician.
• Support patients and families with compassionate, respectful care.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain cleanliness and comfort in the home.

Constellation Hospice is Looking for a CNA for our Hospice Program!

For Coverage in our Lancaster, PA Territory!!

The primary function of the (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.The services of a hospice aide are ordered by a physician and are given under the supervision of a registered nurse.
