Job summary

Crescent Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will work closely with the nursing staff to provide hands-on care that delivers comfort and dignity to patients at end of life.

Responsibilities include personal care, documentation, and family support, with a focus on empathy and professional conduct. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, serving the Tri County area in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state of work.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care according to the plan of care and attend to patient and family needs with compassion.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, shampooing.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.

Crescent Hospiceis seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

Coverage Area: Tri County - Dorchester, Charleston and Berkeley

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.


• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.


• Holds a current unencumbered certificate in the state where working as a C.N.A.


• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long-term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!


• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if state-mandated


• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
