Job summary

Continuum Hospice in Barnstable is seeking a dedicated Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide hands-on, dignified end-of-life care in patients' homes or other settings.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a current CNA certificate, CPR certification, and at least one year of CNA experience (hospice a plus). Wages range $23.00–$26.00 per hour with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year experience as a CNA; hospice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care according to the plan of care and promptly attend to patient and family/caregiver requests with empathy.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and strive for optimal patient satisfaction within our team.
• Support patients' families by sharing knowledge and guidance during difficult times.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the home, agency, and regulatory records.

Continuum Hospiceis seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
