Job summary

Zion’s Way Home Health Care- St George is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality personal care to patients in home health and hospice settings. The CNA assists with daily living activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life in patients' homes.

The role requires Utah CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, CPR, and strong time-management and communication skills; travel to patient

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the State of Utah.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
Take and document vital signs as assigned.
Assist with light housekeeping related to patient care.
Support patients and families with compassion and respect.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR charting program.
Follow infection control, safety, and agency policies and procedures.
Travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
