Job summary
Altra Home Health is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs to provide essential in-home personal care, supporting patients' daily needs, comfort, and independence. You will work with a patient-first philosophy to build trusted relationships and deliver personalized care tailored to each client.
Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, giving medication reminders, monitoring vitals, and documenting care.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
- CPR certification.
- Willingness to comply with all State and Federal training requirements.
- CNAs may be hired as HHAs and perform the same essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient daily living activities and comfort.
- Provide friendly medication reminders and monitor vitals.
- Help ensure patient safety at all times.
- Report significant changes in a patient’s condition to supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Monitor and record patient temperature and ambulation.
- Guide range of motion and simple physical activities.
- Maintain thorough documentation and follow care protocols.
- Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
- Assist with bathing and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
