Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance or reliable transportation.
• Proficient smartphone use for scheduling and care documentation.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual a plus.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily tasks.
• Ability to pass background check, DMV check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, monitor intake.
• Provide companionship and reduce client isolation.
• Keep home spaces clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Document care provided and report changes or concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene


• Mobility Support: Help with safe transfers, repositioning, and movement


• Meal Assistance: Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and monitor intake


• Companionship: Provide emotional support and reduce isolation


• Home Environment: Keep spaces clean, safe, and organized


• Safety & Health: Follow infection control protocols and PPE guidelines


• Documentation: Record care provided and report any changes or concerns

What You Bring

• Active Virginia CNA certification
