Job summary

Alzheimer’s Community Care in Florida is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for its Specialized Day Center. The role supports therapeutic activities for patients with dementia and provides hands-on ADL assistance under supervision. You will help ensure patient safety, assist with meals, and maintain records.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida CNA license or HHA certification and can work 8:00–17:30, Monday through Friday. A background and drug screening will be required per AHCA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida CNA license or HHA certification.
• Ability to work 8:00–17:30, Monday–Friday.
• Pass AHCA level II background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the SADSC.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living for patients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Program Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Specialized Day Center. As a Program Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the Specialized Alzheimer's Day Service Center, including hands‑on assistance with patients' activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the SADSC
• Provide hands‑on assistance with patients' activities of daily living
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of patients at all times
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records

Requirements:

• Clear, active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aid (HHA) Certification
• Ability to work between 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Must pass AHCA level II criminal background screening and drug screening
