Job summary

Alzheimer’s Community Care (ACC) is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Specialized Day Center to develop and facilitate therapeutic activities for patients and assist with activities of daily living, under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida CNA license or HHA certification, is able to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and can pass AHCA Level II background and drug screenings. Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and facilitate therapeutic activities for patients in the Specialized Alzheimer’s Day Service Center.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and meal preparation as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Program Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Specialized Day Center. As a Program Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the Specialized Alzheimer’s Day Service Center, including hands-on assistance with patients' activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the SADSC
• Provide hands-on assistance with patients' activities of daily living
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Clear, active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aid (HHA) Certification
• Ability to work between 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Must pass AHCA level II criminal background screening and drug screening
