Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNA/HHA to provide one-on-one home health care, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, medication reminders and emotional companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document clients’ condition, notifying a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic CNA/HHA to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys the company of, and caring for others. Must be able to communicate effectively and have some experience working with dementia.

As a Home Health Care Provider, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
