Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice & Palliative Care in Erie is seeking a Hospice CNA to be called to care when you’re needed most. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver comfort and dignity.

Fridays through Sundays (24 hours/week) with truly flexible scheduling and competitive pay; benefits and incentives; daily pay option; no overtime required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Recognize and report abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comfort and dignity.

• Responsible for providing direct patient care and assistance in accordance with plan of care
• Aiding with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care)
• Recognizing and reporting abnormal findings or changes in patient status
• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team that helps establish and carry out their plan of care to provide comfort and dignity throughout their diagnosis

To qualify for a Hospice CNA with us, you will need:

• Certified Nurse Assistant Certification required in Pennsylvania
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition
• Reliable Transportation with Proof of Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
