Assisting Hands Home Care in Massachusetts is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across the Norfolk and Suffolk Counties area. The role focuses on daily activities, companionship, and dependable, patient-centered care.

You will work with an RN supervisor in a supportive team, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities for advancement as you build meaningful connections and grow your caregiving career.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience.
• Previous home care experience is a plus but not required; kindness matters most.
• Strong communication and a caring, empathetic approach.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide patient-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to support healthy eating.
• Medication reminders; training provided.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities to brighten each day.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Occasional transportation to appointments or errands; miles reimbursed.
• Show dedication and respect for the team.

Key Responsibilities
