Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across Norfolk and Suffolk Counties and surrounding areas. You will be supported by an RN Supervisor and trained to provide dignified care, companionship, and daily living assistance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and caregiving aptitude required.
• CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming to maintain dignity.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals with attention to safety and nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and training as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities to brighten days.
• Follow care plans and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients.
• Occasional transportation for appointments or errands with mileage reimbursement.
• Demonstrate dedication and respect within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
