Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Boston, MA is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. You will assist clients with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain dignity and comfort in their homes.

Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience is preferred; nursing students welcome. You will work under an RN supervisor, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.

• Prior home care experience is a plus; compassionate attitude matters most.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Provide medication reminders and reinforce care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Provide occasional transportation and reimburse miles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking
• Prepare and serve meals so clients have tasty and healthy food
• Medication reminders are crucial to our client’s health – we will train you
• Provide companionship, engage in fun activities and be the friendly face and joyful presence that makes every day a little brighter
• Show enthusiasm for helping others, eagerness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes
• Occasional Transportation of your client – appointments or errands, we reimburse your miles
• Demonstrate dedication to our clients and respect for our agency’s close-knit team

Requirements
