Job summary

Apploi is seeking kind and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team of professional healthcare staff. You will assist patients with daily tasks while making a meaningful difference in their lives across home care, long term care, and facilities. This role offers full- and part-time options with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Dementia experience required to understand patient needs.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• BLS certification is highly desirable.
• Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and be self-motivated.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance to protect confidentiality.
• Document patient care activities in electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Meal prep according to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with transportation for errands and appointments.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Assist with mobility and transfer within the facility.
• Communicate needs and condition changes to nursing staff.
