Job summary

Cape Senior Home Healthcare is seeking caring Home Health Aides (HHA) to support patients across various settings, including home care and facilities. You will assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for patients.

We offer full-time, part-time, per diem, and PRN roles with competitive pay and opportunities across multiple shifts. CNA/HHA certification is required, and travel within Cape Cod, MA is common.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA certification required.
• Dementia experience preferred.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge required to protect privacy.
• BLS certification strongly desirable.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Document care activities using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Plan and prepare meals, and feed according to dietary needs.
• Assist with transportation for errands and appointments.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transfers within the home or facility.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs.
