We offer Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, and PRN roles with a flexible schedule and supportive team.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA certification required.
• Dementia care experience preferred to understand patient needs.
• HIPAA privacy knowledge required.
• BLS certification desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Able to work well in a team and be self-motivated.
• HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Meal prep and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with transportation for errands and doctor visits.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Assist with mobility and transportation within facilities.
• Communicate patient needs and changes to nursing staff.

This position involves providing care across diverse healthcare settings, including home care, long term care, acute, sub-acute, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, and assisted living facilities. Assist patients short term while making a long lasting impact!

Job Types:

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Meal Prep: Planning, cooking, and feeding according to specific dietary restrictions.
• Assisting with transportation for errands, doctor's visit, outings etc.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.

Skills

• Dementia experience required in order to understand patient needs effectively.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems.
