Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton / Andover and Lowell is seeking experienced CNAs or HHAs for 12-hour day or overnight shifts to provide one-on-one in-home care in Acton area. You will help clients live safely and with dignity at home, following care plans and coordinating with the clinical team.

The role offers flexible scheduling and ongoing training. A valid MA CNA license, 1–2 years' experience, and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

Active CNA license in Massachusetts.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in home care or similar.
Ability to work overnight shifts 9pm–8am.
Pass background check, drug screening, and provide references.

Responsibilities

Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, skin care
Alzheimer’s and Dementia experience
Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying up, changing linens)
Prepare meals and assist with feeding
Offer medication reminders and monitor vital signs
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Provide companionship and emotional support
Follow care plans developed by our clinical team
Maintain accurate care records and communicate with supervising nurse
