Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover and Lowell seeks experienced CNAs or HHAs to provide one-on-one in-home care. Shifts include 12‑hour or 24‑hour options across several days per week, helping clients live safely and with dignity in their own homes.

We value compassion, reliability, and professionalism, and offer on-going training, 24/7 on-call support from our clinical team, and access to PPE to ensure safety for both clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in MA.
• 1–2 years of experience in home care or similar setting.
• Ability to work overnight shifts (9 pm–8 am) is required or accommodated.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and skincare.
• Provide one-on-one care in the client’s home, maintaining safety and independence.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Offer medication reminders and monitor vital signs; communicate with supervising nurse.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced CNA or Home Health Aides (HHA) for 12‑hour or 24‑hour shifts to provide one‑on‑one care in a client’s home a few days a week. This role is essential in helping our clients live safely, independently, and with dignity in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, skin care
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia experience
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying up, changing linens)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Offer medication reminders and monitor vital signs
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans developed by our clinical team
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with supervising nurse

Qualifications

• Active CNA License in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in home care, assisted living, or similar
• Ability to work overnight shifts 9 pm to 8 am (accommodations provided)
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and provide references
