Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs to reliably serve patients in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, and nearby areas. You will follow a nurse’s plan of care to support clients at home with daily living activities.

The role offers training, flexible shifts (4–12 hours), weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a caring, supportive team that emphasizes safety and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience
• HHA certificate (40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience
• BLS CPR certification
• Level II Background Check

Pay Range: $17-19/hour

Qualifications for a Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)
• Level II Background Check (Information regarding the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com/)

What you'll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
