Job summary

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate caregivers to support children in their homes in Sullivan County. No experience required—we’ll train you and help you become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

This role involves meaningful, one-on-one care where you make a difference in a child’s daily life, including daily living support, transportation, and IEP/BIP implementation.

Qualifications

• Certificate preferred: Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Willingness to work in Laporte, and travel to client locations.
• Reliable transportation to visit clients at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, meals, and routine care.
• Implement and support IEPs and behavior support plans (BIPs).
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with daily activities including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting.

What You’ll Do:
