Job summary

CareGivers America in Kentucky is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in their homes. No experience needed — we’ll train you and help you become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

This role offers paid training, flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts), and benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). You will travel to clients’ homes in Monroe County and support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred.
• Willingness to work in Monroe County.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' location.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene and meals.
• Implement IEPs and behavior support plans (BIPs).
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities to promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and a safe environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
