CNA/HHA Needed PART-TIME HOURS! HomeLife Personal Care is in search of experienced and compassionate caregivers who understand the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. Our caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting patients with meals and serving as needed

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate attitude
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver preferred
• Hoyer Lift experience specific to client needs
