Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - Health Unit Coordinator to support patient care and unit clerical tasks under RN supervision. Strong communication, confidentiality, and professional interaction are essential. CNA certification and BLS are required, with in-house training as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification: CNA and BLS as listed or required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data;Reports information to nursing team promptly.
• Assists patients with daily activities, mobility, meals, and feeding as needed.
• Maintains clean and organized work area; manages records, forms, and correspondence.
• Transcribes physician orders and monitors pending orders.
• Greets visitors, answers phones, and coordinates with staff using pagers and devices.
• Runs errands, transports patients, and assists with supplies and equipment.
