Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Rent, Washington and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes maintaining the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life while you work with a care team and family.

The position offers a consistent daytime weekday schedule, approximately 20 hours per week, and opportunities for additional shifts based on needs and assignments.

Qualifications

• Current WA CNA or HCA credential
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and dependable approach to caregiving

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and dressing as needed.
• Support safe ambulation and mobility in and around the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and activities.
• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with client, family, and care team.
