Job summary

FlintHillsCRC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver exceptional care to residents in our facility in Emporia, Kansas. You will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to quality nursing care and resident well-being.

The role requires CNA certification, a caring personality, and the ability to read, write, and speak English. You will support residents throughout daily activities and collaborate with RN supervisors and others to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required to qualify for this position.
• Must possess a caring, loving personality and demeanor.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting and hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Prepare residents for therapy sessions, activities and appointments.
• Follow infection control procedures and document care provided for each resident.
• Protect residents' rights and adhere to facility policies and standards.
