Job summary

Princeton Transitional Care & Assisted Living in Johnson City, TN seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents’ wellbeing, and support a safe, respectful living environment.

You will work closely with a nursing team, maintain documentation, and help ensure quality outcomes while upholding facility policies. A supportive benefits package accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• State-certified Nursing Assistant required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plan.
• Change bed linens and maintain room grooming supplies.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Turn and position residents; support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
