Qualifications
- Current, active CNA certification from the state in which the facility operates.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
- Promote compassionate physical and psychosocial environment.
- Assist with ADLs as defined by care plan.
- Change bed linens and maintain room cleanliness.
- Ambulate and transfer residents with proper safety.
- Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meals.
- Turn and reposition residents.
- Respect resident rights and choices.
- Assist in staff orientation and training.
- Support special projects and duties as assigned.
