Job summary

Liberty Health Matthews in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. You will support residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and health monitoring under supervision of licensed staff.

The role requires respectful communication with residents and families, accurate care records, and participation in ongoing in-service training to ensure high‑quality geriatric care in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and understand/follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care.
• Complete patient care records, including I&O.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs.
