Job summary

St. Francis Home in Michigan is seeking CNAs for part- and full-time roles. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus Michigan CNA certification or completion with testing within 120 days.

You will provide personal care, assist with meals, document care, transport residents, implement bowel/bladder programs, and support restorative procedures. We value patience with dementia residents, strong communication with residents and families, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification by Michigan or testing within 120 days of employment.
• Preferred geriatric care experience.
• Ability to work with limited supervision in hectic, stressful situations.
• Excellent communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and comfort for residents as needed.
• Assist with meal times and feeding.
• Document interventions and care provided.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Implement bowel and bladder programs.
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitation procedures.
• Participate in care plans and other nursing duties as assigned.
