Job summary

Blue Ridge Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and monitor residents' safety. You will assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, meals, mobility and reporting changes to nursing staff.

The role emphasizes infection control, privacy, and respectful interaction with residents and families. Qualified candidates hold a valid CNA license and have at least 1 year in long-term care; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of previous long-term care experience.
• Must hold a current and valid CNA license OR certificate of passing competency in Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide or Nurse Aide training.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and hygiene as directed.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents safely.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient privacy at all times.
• Record vitals, intake, and participate in care plan reviews.
