Job summary

Blue Ridge Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team in Virginia. The CNA will work under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, document observations, and contribute to a safe, comfortable home-like environment for patients.

Qualifications

• VA Certified Nursing Assistant license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• High School Diploma strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing and daily routines.
• Assist patients with dressing, feeding, and activities of daily living.
• Take and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Monitor skin condition and prevent tissue breakdown.
• Observe changes in patient condition and report to RN.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfer of patients.
• Keep patient areas clean and organized; assist with light laundry and documentation.
• Follow organization procedures for accurate record-keeping and patient confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and IDT meetings.
