Benchmark at Hamden is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Sunday through Thursday. You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment and document changes in health or behavior for staff.

This role emphasizes empathy, safety, and high-quality daily support. Requirements include a valid CNA license; prior skilled nursing or assisted living experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).

Benchmark at Hamden is hiring Full Time CNA for 2nd Shift, 3p-11p. Sunday to Thursday

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
