Job summary

Benchmark at Hamden is seeking a compassionate Full Time CNA for 2nd shift (3p-11p), Sunday to Thursday. You will deliver direct resident care in a warm, home-like environment and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, and engaging residents in meaningful activities while providing emotional support. Prior dementia experience is appreciated. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required
