Job summary

Western Slope Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and maintaining accurate records in a supportive skilled-nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA Certification is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for caring for seniors.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Helping residents during meals and recording food/fluid intake.
• Responding promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Promoting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Providing compassionate care and emotional support to residents and families.
