Job summary

Western Slope Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time employment. The position offers $22.57 - $29.13 per hour DOE plus benefits and growth opportunities, in a facility where resident comfort and quality of life are priorities.

You will work within a skilled nursing team to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, home-like environment and compassionate care for

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Genuine passion for caring for seniors.
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Help residents during meals and record food/fluid intake.
• Respond to resident call lights and requests.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to residents and families.

What You'll Do

As a CNA, you'll help residents maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life by:

• Assisting with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care

• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and mobility
• Helping residents during meals and recording food/fluid intake

What We're Looking For

Required
