Haverhill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team in Haverhill, MA. The CNA will provide direct resident care, monitor vital signs, and assist with transfers, hygiene, and daily activities, while supporting care plans and documentation.

The ideal candidate is MA-certified, with at least 1 year in long-term care, capable of handling a fast-paced environment, and committed to teamwork and high-quality resident

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with moderate to heavy weights.
• Willingness to participate in facility education programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration, BP.
• Assist with resident transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Help with incontinent care (bedpans/urinals).
• Provide oral hygiene and denture care.
• Assist with medication administration and treatments.
• Participate in assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with nursing staff on individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate resident care records.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment for residents and staff.
