Job summary

The Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team serving veterans in Missouri. You will provide dedicated care aligned with each resident’s care plan, helping with daily activities and health monitoring.

You will document vital signs, communicate changes to the nursing staff, and assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, and mobility while ensuring safety and dignity for every Veteran. Overtime may be required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid certified nursing assistant certification.
• Experience with veterans or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Veteran care according to the individualized care plan.
• Document observations and communicate with nursing staff.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Accurately record vitals and measurements.
• Maintain safety and dignity during transfers, positioning, and daily activities.
• Work overtime as needed.
