Job summary

Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and provide compassionate care to our state's veterans. You will work with a dedicated nursing staff to follow individualized care plans and ensure the highest standards of comfort and safety.

The role requires a valid CNA certification. You will document observations, assist with daily activities, and monitor vitals while maintaining dignity and respect for all residents.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid certified nursing assistant certification.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent Veteran care and support according to the individualized care plan.
Communicate and document information to nursing staff regarding Veterans' needs and observations.
Attend to individual needs including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility as per care requirements.
Accurately perform and document vitals, heights, and weights.
Walk, stand, and assist with lifts to provide quality care to Veterans.
Work overtime as needed.
