Job summary
State of Missouri, serving at the Missouri Veterans Home, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to our heroes. You’ll work with a dedicated nursing team to follow individualized care plans and document needs, preferences, and observations for accurate care delivery.
You will assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and monitoring vitals, while maintaining safety and dignity for our Veterans.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Experience caring for Veterans is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Veteran care and support according to the individualized care plan.
- Communicate and document information to nursing staff regarding Veterans' needs and observations.
- Attend to individual needs of Veterans including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility as required.
- Accurately perform and document vitals, heights, and weights.
- Walk and stand extensively, assist with transfers and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
