Job summary
The Missouri Veterans Home-Warrensburg is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to Veterans. You will follow individualized care plans, document observations for the nursing staff, and assist with activities of daily living while ensuring comfort and safety for each Veteran.
Responsibilities include recording vitals, assisting with grooming, meals, mobility, and daily hygiene, plus adhering to care standards. Overtime may be required as needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid certified nursing assistant certification.
- Ability to communicate clearly with Veterans and nursing staff.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Veteran care according to the individualized care plan.
- Communicate and document information to nursing staff regarding Veterans' needs and preferences.
- Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, and other daily activities.
- Accurately perform and document vitals, heights, and weights.
- Assist Veterans with mobility and transfers; provide safe, comfortable care.
- Work overtime as needed.
