Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking a compassionate CNA Float to provide basic personal care for patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in home care and long-term care settings.

This full-time role (32 hours per week) runs Monday through Wednesday and every other weekend, 8:00am–4:30pm; CPR/BLS certification is required, along with reliable transportation and a valid NC CNAI status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant program.
• Currently listed as NA I with NC DHS with no substantiated findings.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross BLS) is required.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Preferred: NA II/NA I experience in Hospice/home health/oncology.
• Valid state driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients under RN supervision.
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Support patients and caregivers with emotional needs and comfort.
